Fallout: Willis Officially Disqualified in Trump Case
Story by Michael Davis•

The Georgia Supreme Court has refused to hear an appeal challenging the disqualification of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from overseeing President Donald Trump's election interference prosecution, solidifying a lower court's ruling prompted by her personal relationship with lead prosecutor Nathan Wade. This decision follows prolonged controversy over the affair, which raised conflict-of-interest concerns, and paves the way for the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia to appoint a successor prosecutor.
