Woman who hates being single buys highway billboards advertising herself in bid to find a man

A fed-up California woman has launched a bold billboard campaign to be united with the love of her life after losing faith in dating apps and traditional methods.

Lisa Catalano, 41, has rented out a dozen digital billboards on highway 101 from Santa Clara to San Francisco to take potential suitors to her website. 

There candidates can find a slew of comprehensive information about Lisa and what she's looking for.

She told ABC7: 'I'm looking for a husband, I'm looking for a committed relationship and hopefully the love of my life.'

At first, her website - marrylisa.com - started as a joke. Each time she would get frustrated with the dating scene, Lisa would work on refining the site.

She soon realized that advertising herself online in Silicon Valley wasn't that crazy of an idea, giving visitors an opportunity to apply for themselves or for eligible friends.

She also realized that having a website wasn't going to do her any good without some traffic, so she figured the best way to reach local guys was on their daily commute.

Her advertisements have been up since September 2.

A woman over 40 who still talks about 'kissing on the first date'?

'I will kiss on a first date' does not mean the same thing coming from a 40+ woman as it does for 15 year old kids. She does not seem to understand this. Kind of a Red Flag ...

Back in my single days I'd have checked her out...the billboard thing is a bit of a turnoff, though.

She insists--not just asks, but INSISTS-- her future husband be a non-religious  liberal Democrat. Belief in God and conservative values is apparently a dealbreaker. Also, she lives in Silicon Valley, which implies high income is also a must.

I'm out of that game now. The depravity among this generation  has turned me off for good.

Yep, It was probable the 3rd date before I even ventured in for a brief hug. Some things are worth waiting for.

Nio one to give advice since my last date as a single was 45 years ago. 
But some red flags...  beeside only being a 5.5-6 at most.

1. Lefty.   Deal buster for a ton
2. Obviously a nervous biological clock watcher who is near desperate.
3. When you volunteer that you have a sense of humor, it usually is the opposite.
4. Claims she has "C" Cups, but look at her bathing suit pic.....   Solid B at most.  Truth issues already.
5. Testimonials come across like bot-like Yelp reviews.
