Loyola Marymount promotes hostile environment for conservatives
The Washington Examiner obtained exclusive photos and testimonies from conservative students at Loyola Marymount University that expose the repeated hostility, intimidation, and guilt trips from their supposedly tolerant peers and professors in the wake of the horrendous murder of Charlie Kirk. Those entrusted to protect us must take action against this extensive culture of anti-conservative hate speech at college campuses.
For instance, a sociology professor at LMU asked a small class of around 10 students to write a word or phrase that described their reactions toward the killing. The answers of the students of the upper division sociology seminar were then projected by the professor to the entire class.
Among the common answers were words such as "indifferent" or “karma.” A small minority of the class wrote like “murder is unacceptable" or “no one deserves to get killed for what they have to say.”
Those students were subject to a humiliating and manipulative guilt trip, as the professor played an extensive compilation of out-of-context clips of Kirk’s words, and then proceeded to ask the students who condemned the murder if they “still felt sorry” for him.
