What If RFK Wasn’t the Guy All Along?

We were promised if not THE, at least one of the causes of autism. What we got was don’t take Tylenol while pregnant. While I have no problem with that – my wife wouldn’t take anything, and I mean anything, while she was pregnant: Tylenol, Advil, aspirin, coffee, old grapes, ANYTHING – avoiding acetaminophen during early pregnancy doesn’t seem like a heavy lift to lower the possibility of autism.

But the case wasn’t presented very well by the team at Health and Human Services. They used already-existing research from places like Harvard that suggests a possible link, because that’s all there is: a POSSIBLE link. They should have been very clear that there may be a correlation, but that does not establish causation. That would have made the argument “Maybe don’t take it in the first few months of pregnancy, unless you really need to” argument land with less of a thud.

While I support the idea of doing whatever is necessary to lower risks of negatively impacting kids, this press conference was well short of what we were promised. We were promised a cause, we got an older maybe.

I have to blame Robert Kennedy Jr. He’s the boss, he’s responsible. He’s the one who over-promised and under-delivered.

One thing I appreciate is how Kennedy/MAHA have gotten SNAP out of the soda pop business (or, at least, inspired the states to take action). I hope other unhealthy stuff and empty calories are next.

The West Virginia Department of Human Services’ (DoHS) Bureau for Family Assistance (BFA) has received federal approval to implement a new restriction on the purchase of soda using Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. The waiver request was submitted to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service (USDA FNS) in May 2025 and was officially approved on August 4, 2025, with signatures from USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins and Governor Patrick Morrisey.

Beginning January 1, 2026, SNAP benefits can no longer be used to purchase soda in West Virginia. This restriction includes regular soda, diet soda, and zero-calorie soda. Beverages such as water, milk, juice, and energy drinks are not impacted by this change. ...

Aside from having the fattest poor people on the planet...

We will have some more data on acetaminophen in a few months. How many are stuffing themselves with it, baby on board, out of TDS.

I don't doubt there may be a number of other contributing causes, but we'll have more info on those kids before very long. Some correlation must be present, and the way the Medical Industry sidelined aspirin to a  'heart health' role while pushing acetaminophen is something I always found curious.

Ibuprofen does little for me, Tyenol is just not as good as plain old aspirin. That said, the blood thinning aspect of aspirin isn't a problem for me. It's rare (have to hit a major vessel) that I don't clot very quickly, so much so that it is a pain to get enough blood from a finger stick to check my glucose levels some days.

I applaud RFK Jr's efforts.  For decades, the FDA, NIH and CDC did nothing in regard to autism.  A BIG FAT NOTHING!!!

Don't think for a moment that RFK Jr was NOT faced with overwhelming resistance by the pukes who are the bureaucracy that has jettisioned health for chronic illness.

                  IT IS ABOUT MONEY!!!  HAS BEEN MOST OF OUR LIVES.  HE IS FIGHTING A WELL ENTRENCHED ORGANIZATION THAT I AM CERTAIN IS SAYING WITH EACH PASSING DAY, WE JUST NEED TO DRAG OUR FEET FOR 1,460 DAYS TOTAL, THEN BACK TO THE CHRONIC HEALTHCARE SYSTEM OF WEALTH BUILDING
