A recent news article about Britain’s National Health Service managed, in a few lines, to capture just how dire the situation is in that country and how divorced from reality its political leadership has become.

The article was about guidance the NHS published recently, “extolling the benefits of first-cousin marriage despite the increased risk of birth defects.” Defying both modern science and the traditions of western civilization, the NHS England’s Genomics Education Programme seemed to endorse incest, saying first-cousin marriage is linked to “stronger extended family support systems and economic advantages.”

It’s also linked to an increased risk of heritable genetic conditions like sickle cell disease and cystic fibrosis, but that’s apparently not as important to the NHS as justifying the practice of cousin marriage among its Pakistani Muslim immigrant population.

Indeed, the only reason the NHS is even talking about cousin marriage is because the practice is rampant among the country’s Muslim immigrants.  ...

It’s hard to imagine any other issue that so completely encapsulates what’s gone wrong in Britain, or illustrates how thoroughly the country’s ruling elites have turned their back not only  on their native population but on western civilization itself. After all, the prohibition on cousin marriage was one of the early achievements of Christendom that enabled the rise of western civilization in Europe. ...

Yes, you read that correctly. The government promoted procreation between first cousins. What could possibly go wrong?

Apparently, NHS saw the backlash and removed the report, but not before the news media were able to do stories about entire families of Pakistani cousin-spawned handicapped children.

For the UK 🇬🇧, there is no higher priority right now than responding to what just transpired with China.

If you haven’t been paying attention, the weak and gormless Labour government sabotaged a trial against spies who betrayed their own country by collecting and sending sensitive information to the CCP. Why?

Because they wouldn’t accurately label China as a “threat to national security” rather than a “challenge,” which Starmer said is how the previous guys in charge - Tories - had left it.

In truth, the reason for this is because Starmer’s government didn’t want to jeopardize economic ties to China, a testament to China’s success in weaponizing economic levers to achieve policy outcomes at the expense of national interests of target nations.

The other conclusion is that Labour is ignorantly naive in continuing to believe what the US government has already woken up to:

that the CCP will not moderate through engagement or compromise, and nor will it ever become democratic, because these principles are anathema to the very essence of Chinese Communist ideology.

The other startling possibility is that Labour shares the CCP’s ideology and is actively subverting the national interests of the United Kingdom in service of a foreign state.

How much more bullying will the UK take? How much more concessions will Labour give to the CCP?

The Chinese mega-embassy in London that Labour has greenlit (undemocratically overriding popular opinion and local council decisions btw) faces a final decision deadline on October 21.

If you’re British, you must exert whatever pressure you can to stop this from happening.

There is no issue more important than this because if this 20,000 sq meter “diplomatic complex” on prime real estate near the Tower of London is allowed to proceed despite everything we know about the PRC’s ideological and economic stranglehold on British leaders, then the country might as well just raise the red flag of China in place of the Union Jack. It would mean the complete dominance of CCP influence within and of Britain.
