 Copenhagen Airport was closed Monday night after drones were discovered nearby, an airport spokesperson told CNN.

Copenhagen Police said in a statement on X that “two to three large drones have been seen flying in the area,” and that it was unclear how long the disruption would last.

The airspace over the airport has been closed since 8:30 p.m. local time due to the “unidentified” drones, the airport spokesperson said. No flights have been allowed to take off or land.  ...

Separately on Monday, police in the Norwegian capital of Oslo said they arrested two foreign nationals for flying drones over restricted area.  ...

Per the latest update via Eurocontrol, Copenhagen Airport will remain closed through 0700 UTC 23 Sep. 50 flights have been canceled so far, 50 flights have been diverted, and approximately 20 further flights are likely to divert over the coming hours.

Interesting to note that that route would be the the most viable in war between Russia and Europe, if the drones take the baltic route, and Copenhagen is about the same distance as Berlin, last week a certain vodka enthusiast threatened to march on Berlin again
