Barron Trump transfers to New York University’s D.C. campus, according to reports

Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Trump, has reportedly transferred to the District campus of New York University.

An unnamed source with “inside knowledge” told People magazine that the younger Mr. Trump is attending classes at NYU’s campus on L Street Northwest, roughly a 15-minute walk from the White House.

Two other sources also confirmed to the New York Times that Mr. Trump had moved down to Washington, one of them being a classmate of Mr. Trump for the fall 2025 semester.

The school’s District campus hosts about 60 to 100 students each semester, according to the NYU website. The younger Mr. Trump initially enrolled in the university’s Stern School of Business in fall 2024.

Mr. Trump’s mother, first lady Melania Trump, previously told “Fox and Friends” in December that “I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student.”

He chose NYU and could still be living in his home, with his granddad, secret service  --- and a brother and friends nearby.   

It's not like he was living on campus.

Melania Trump continues to keep close tabs on her only son, Barron Trump, as he prepares for his second year of college.

A political source tells PEOPLE that the first lady has put a considerable amount of her focus on Barron, his social life, and his well-being during his time at New York University's Stern School of Business.

“Melania watches Barron constantly in an effort to be sure nobody messes with him or bullies him, as this is a constant worry with her,” the source says. “She always knows where he is and what he’s doing.”

“She will do everything she can to make sure Barron does well in school and is socially and mentally adjusted to his life as a college student," the political source told PEOPLE of Melania, adding that dorm living wasn't "in the stars" for Barron "at this point."

The same month, another source told PEOPLE that Barron had adjusted well socially at NYU, despite his father's political position and New York City's strong Democratic tilt.

"He’s tall and handsome," the source said. "A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive — yes, even liberal people like him."

3) Beside of LA, NYC is the Whack-A-Doodle Capital of the world.

While 2024 was especially tough for Melania, she has always obsessed over Barron, quite literally.  It's well known ---  and that Barron's been a good sport.

And, sure, NYC may well be the whack-a-doodle capital of the world, but it's also Barron's home --- which is one of the reasons he chose NYU.  He's very comfortable there.

Hopefully, Melania will start letting go --- confident in his security team and all her nurturing.

If there hadn't already been TWO attempts on Presdent Trump already...if the rhetoric coming from the DEMOCRATS in Congress and the Media weren't at a fever pitch, I don't believe she would be fretting as much as she seems to be.

I get it @DCPatriot   Truly, I get it.

My only point is Melania's obsessive control of Barron began at his birth ... not with the threat to his father's life.  Just trust me on this.

I would've thought -- as a guy -- you'd be rooting for Barron here and a little freedom and independence as he begins his Sophomore year in college and prepares for the start of his 21st year coming in March.   These are interesting times, indeed.
