Church Leaders Face 10-Count Indictment Amid FBI Raid

Kingdom of God Global Church leaders David Taylor and Michelle Brannon have reportedly been arrested on a 10-count federal indictment for forced labor, conspiracy to commit forced labor, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Critics have accused them of years of abuse and coercion to solicit donations. Reports have indicated that the case is being handled in the Eastern District of Michigan.

U.S. Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon Jr. for Eastern District of Michigan said, “We will use every lawful tool against human traffickers and seek justice for their victims.”

IRS Criminal Investigation Special Agent in Charge Karen Wingerd said Taylor “funded an alleged human trafficking ring and supported a luxury lifestyle under the guise of a religious ministry.”

The first name that came to mind when I saw the headline was Revend Al Sharptongue.
