My wife is addicted to watching cop body-cam footage on her smart phone.
In most situations, body cams are beneficial to the cop's side of the story. In court, when the defendent cries 'police misconduct', the prosecutor need only say 'Roll the body cam footage.'
The cops today are soft compared to the WWII/Korean War veteran Irish cops. When a cop pulled you aside, it was not a negotiation nor a 'discussion'.
I know the cops gotta give perps 1,000 chances to 'explain' to avoid misconduct charges, but, man, how long do you let them bargain to not get arrested before you arrest them?
