My bad, missed two. One for not paying attention (I left out John Adams), and the second on semantics.

Can a teacher express their political beliefs?
Two things:



Expression is one thing, and in some classes (History, Social Studies) could be an opening for discussion, but demanding that students parrot those beliefs is something else and inappropriate.

Making a reasonable argument for a belief or position is good practice, and will often lead to conservative views, but in a classroom contest can leave room for disagreement, and even more the concept that mature people can disagree in a civil fashion (i.e.: without violent intent or ad hominem attacks)--something lacking in much of modern discourse).

In other instances, politics are just not germane to the subject at hand (STEM, especially) and should be left out of the classroom.
