Who believes what Democrats are saying anymore?
By Kevin Finn

Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) commented recently on President Trump’s ongoing crime crackdowns.  He said, “He’s trying to militarize the society and intimidate his political opponents.  The whole idea of picking cities based on their partisan leadership is absurd.  I mean, there are lots of Republican cities and towns struggling with crime.  Everybody is, across the country.”

As is often (usually) the case with the left, most of what Raskin said is demonstrably false.  The POTUS isn’t trying to militarize our society.  While his actions may be intimidating to his opponents, his stated goal was to make D.C. safer and cleaner.  He didn’t pick D.C. because Muriel Bowser is the mayor; he did so because crime was out of control, and the city was filthy.

Raskin’s most startling statement came at the very end, where he said, “Crime has always been part of our history.  And yet crime is down, in D.C., for example.  It’s at a 30-year low.  It’s down in Baltimore, it’s down in Chicago.”  If he can rationalize his objection by claiming that crime has always been part of our history, can we say the same thing about alcoholism and drug abuse?  How about poverty?

Raskin obviously isn’t alone.  Although we’ve seen lies coming from both sides of the political aisle, Democrats increasingly seem incapable of telling the truth, about anything.

To the rank-and-file dem-communist, it doesn't matter what the party leaders or apparatchiks say.

They aren't Trump.
They are against the evil Republicans
And that's all that counts.

The sad thing is, that with the over the top rhetoric pounded into weak minds, there are likely frightened little enclaves of people who think that the evil MAGAs are going to knock down their door and 'genocide' them. We are hearing this sort of rhetoric from just about every splinter group out there, saying they have to 'fight back' against people who really aren't out to harm them. Hate whitey, masculinity and femininity (in their appropriate places), hate straights, hate the patriotic Americans, hate on just about everyone and anyone who isn't them.

Who believes this?

People looking for someone, or something, any one or thing to blame for their lot in life, except themselves.
So they act and appear in ways which ordinary people find repugnant, and then decide they should be "celebrated" for doing so, and if the rest of humanity doesn't want to play along with that, it is no longer a case of disagreeing, but "Hate", with all the violent extrapolations which apply.

Human interaction is broken, and if it isn't fixed, it could get messy.

Just think of all the 'toleration' that got us here.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Not me! I still think a REAL civil war is on the horizon. I no longer believe our differences can be resolved by any peaceful means. I pray I'm wrong.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
