Some of the problems in renewables is easy to explain.

Renewables are bought from somewhere else, whereas coal is extracted using local workers who get paid to dig it out and transport it to the power station.

Lots cheaper and good for the local economy

Renewables are less economical that other sources of energy in most instances.

The rush to renewables has made the affordability crisis worse, weakened economic security, and threatens national security.

The Chi-coms would love to get their hands on Indonesia for the natural resources.

Who benefits the most from this rush to renewables?  The Chi-coms.
