Instead of making Canada a new state, I think Trump should give them Oregon as a new Province. :amen:

Better solution:

Draw a dividing line (actually, two of them), splitting Oregon into "thirds", vertically.
Do the same with Washington above it. (don't the eastern borders align?)

Now, "split" the westernmost third of both states, and merge them together.

The eastern two-thirds of each state can either join together, or perhaps become independent states...
