Anna Giaritelli says police response after attack left her ‘infuriated’

The Washington Examiner’s homeland security reporter, Anna Giaritelli, appeared on the Sean Hannity Show Wednesday to recount the aftermath of the attack against her.

In 2020, Giaritelli suffered a random attack outside of Union Station. A homeless man lunged at her, which prompted a struggle where she was sexually assaulted in broad daylight.
 
Months after the attack, he was arrested. However, the Metropolitan Police Department's “Crime Cards” online statistics page omits this man. Giaritelli described how she felt about the District of Columbia “gaslighting” her.

“It was infuriating, and you know after that type of crime, you’re not in your right mind,” Giaritelli said “Trying to overcome that and then trying to understand at the same time that your city is gaslighting you. ‘It’s not a big deal, we’re going to try him by the Feds.’ It’s a big deal but it’s also not a big deal.”

Giaritelli eventually moved away from the district.

“At the end of the day, I can’t rely on the city to have my back,” Giaritelli said. “I felt physically unsafe but I felt so let down by the city that I loved.”

Then it's not going to get better.
Because... the voters (considering their demographics) will NEVER "stop voting rat".

The only way to change this is...
... change who inhabits those cities.
(and even that might not work).
