Kentucky District Judge Kevin Mullins, 54, was fatally shot in his chambers at Letcher County Circuit Court by his “close friend,” Sheriff Shawn M. “Mickey” Stines, in a scandal that’s unraveling into a dark tale of corruption and revenge. Mullins, killed in September 2024, stands accused of running a depraved sex ring from his office, coercing young women into “wild sex parties,” according to accuser Tya Adams.

The Kentucky judge who was shot by a sheriff is accused of having s*x with inmates from the jail in exchange for more lenient sentences.

No...Sheriff Stines found his 16 year old daughters phone number in the judges contacts on his cell phone.


I've been covering this from Louisville since it happened.  It's a twisted little tale to say the least.  Judge Mullins had been running a little sexual favors for lesser punishment ring since he was an assistant commonwealth's attorney...and he continued it after he was appointed to the bench by our current Democrat governnor.

The Letcher County Jail was basically being run as a brothel as well.
