The man charged for throwing a Subway sandwich at a federal agent in DC worked for the DOJ as a lawyer and has been promptly fired.

A man in a salmon-colored t-shirt was caught on video throwing a sandwich at a federal officer in DC earlier this week after President Trump deployed the National Guard to patrol the streets.

The sandwich thrower was identified as 37-year-old Sean Charles Dunn, a DOJ trial attorney.

“If you touch any law enforcement officer, we will come after you. I just learned that this defendant worked at the Department of Justice — NO LONGER. Not only is he FIRED, he has been charged with a felony. This is an example of the Deep State we have been up against for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ. You will NOT work in this administration while disrespecting our government and law enforcement,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said.

He probable knew most the time the left gets away with crap like this in DC, and even if charged they don't get punished. Most of us here wouldn't throw something of value, he obviously was a FU lawyer rich to throw food haphazardly. The rest of us would of picked up a rock/bum's hat/discarded shoe to fling instead of a $8.00 sandwich.

Ouch, Yeah, you got me there, and if I do eat out, it is with coupons in tow. Locally our Subway does not take coupons, so they get a pass on the menu selection. I used to eat their meatball sandwich quite regually when it was just a couple of bucks.

NOTE: Sassy sub chucker Sean Charles Dunn is NOT an attorney, and is not the same person as the Sean Dunn who is a trial attorney at DOJ and has a public LinkedIn profile. I see lots of people Googling and mistakenly putting the trial attorney guy on blast.

Sassy sub chucker Sean Dunn was hired in 2022 and worked as an international affairs specialist, but it is not clear if that focus included international salted and cured deli meats.
