 Declassified annexes from Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation have revealed that Democratic National Committee leaders and affiliated groups attempted to link President Donald Trump to Russia during the 2016 campaign in an alleged effort to divert focus from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email controversy. Analysts have regarded several internal campaign emails as credible. Memos attributed to Russian intelligence have described interactions among Democratic National Committee (DNC) leaders, Open Society Foundations, and related groups.
