A question for any forum attorney...

Since John Harbaugh had just signed a 3 year Contract with the Ravens, does he still get paid in full for the total term of the Contract?

Secondly, if he chooses to sign with another organization, does he STILL get all the money owed under the existing Contract?

I'm not an attorney but from what I understand of these contracts, yes, they're guaranteed in terms of their money. Teams are liable for the cost of entire contract term. The only way they could get out is if there is a clawback provision in the contract. That isn't all that common as far as I know, though you can and do see them more in college coach's contracts.

That makes the Raiders situation even more insane considering how many coaches they're still paying!

There was once a time in the National Hockey League didn't even allow coaches who were fired to be hired by another team until their contract expired, unless the team that fired them surrendered their rights (usually they could demand a draft pick in compensation for doing so). The NFL doesn't do that (since Jon Gruden got traded to Tampa, they don't allow coach trades anymore).

Bills don't need a new coach.  They need to provide Allen with legitimate wide receivers...sit down and STHU!
