Fired ABC reporter admits networks are ‘biased’ against Trump
Former ABC News correspondent Terry Moran, who was fired earlier this year after launching a scathing personal attack on top Trump adviser Stephen Miller, is now admitting what many conservatives have long alleged: Mainstream media outlets are biased against President Donald Trump.
In a revealing Substack essay titled “RIP, CBS”, Moran reflected on his nearly three decades at ABC News, writing: “Were we biased? Yes. Almost inadvertently, I’d say."
Moran, once a prominent face of ABC’s political coverage, said the media’s failure to include pro-Trump perspectives wasn’t always out of “malevolent bias,” but created a “deafness” that distorts coverage of conservative America.
"It is no secret. There are hardly any people who supported Donald Trump at ABC News — or the other corporate/legacy/mainstream news networks. And this is bound to impact coverage, not so much out of malevolent bias (that’s the cartoon version peddled by Trump, Brendan Carr and online MAGA), but more out of what is a kind of deafness," he wrote on his Substack.
