Not sure why any self-respecting Conservative would want to go on that show just to be beaten down anyway.

It's the same old schtick that's been going on almost since television became a nationwide medium. Liberals have to sell collectivism by trying to put lipstick on the pig. They won't allow articulate and smart conservative on a show because their narrative is ideological religion not based on fact but obedience.

No dissent can be allowed unless it's some dumb and squishy conservative-lite tag teamed by at least three liberals. All they can really do is preach sermons and snare people with fact-whitewashed hypotheticals and gotchas. This is how always and everywhere try to lay the groundwork to propagandize their way into the national psyche and prop their commie jackboot buddies into power in the next election.

Problem is since Trump and his direct style, plus their big COVID overreach, too many see thru it now and the formula isn't working, so they get more and more reflexively extreme till their little platform is nothing but an echo chamber with everyone trying to out do the other..

It may be years ago but I do recall a few conservatives having gone on the show only for the hosts cattle to bushwhack them instead of talking about the subject they were booked to discuss. This is the same M.O. of all these liberal ‘talk shows’.
