Illegal border crossings have plunged even lower as the Trump administration continues to tighten the “most secure border” in U.S. history.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed preliminary data for July which indicate historic lows set the month prior have been shattered yet again.

Nationwide encounters for Customs and Border Protection fell to just 24,630, down from 25,243 in June and roughly 90% lower than the monthly average under the Biden regime.

U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) saw its quietest month ever, logging just 6,177 apprehensions nationwide, and a mere 4,598 at the southwest border.

In contrast, USBP averaged 5,110 apprehensions per day between February 2021 and December 2024.
