Trump’s Supreme Court Victory Sparks Ongoing Debate
Story by Laura Mitchell•

A Supreme Court ruling on nationwide injunctions in June has strengthened President Donald Trump's administration by reducing legal obstacles to its policy agenda. The administration has since proceeded with its focus on ending birthright citizenship and cutting funding for sanctuary cities. White House officials emphasized that the legal victory enables them to revisit previously blocked policies.

This ruling limits the ability of lower courts to issue broad injunctions that halt federal policies nationwide, giving the administration greater flexibility to implement its priorities. The decision has sparked debate, with supporters arguing it restores executive authority and critics warning it could enable unchecked policy changes.

On July 10 and July 25, federal district courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts issued new nationwide injunctions through class-action lawsuits to protect children affected by Trump's order. On July 23, the 9th Circuit Court upheld a state-specific injunction. This ongoing litigation will likely to return to the Supreme Court for a final decision.

By means of shrewd lies, unremittingly repeated, it is possible to make people believe that heaven is hell - and hell heaven. The greater the lie, the more readily it will be believed.

The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan.

I'll bet the Supreme Court is surprised to know they can be overruled by inferior courts.
