IMHO I think it is likely.  He has his reputation and his integrity to preserve.  Only problem is, he knows information that is very damaging and that puts a target on his back, though, likely he knows enough people that would protect him...maybe.

I'll briefly say it again....  After watching 4 years of flailing warfare by the left against DJT, , wouldn't you think that Merrick Garland would have extracted some form of incrimination, since he had the entire file?

The answer to this is probably in the list of names that would have to come down with Trump.

I don't really know or even care if Trump went to Lolita Island. My opinion of Trump's character is already so low, it would not surprise me, or even cause me to regret supporting him based on the horrible bifurcated choices we always seem to end up with in presidential cycles. What I do care about is Trump's obvious gaslighting on this issue, which only elevates my suspicions.

Trump was elected to drain the swamp. The whole sordid business of Epstein and protecting Epstein's associates IS THE SWAMP. So far, based on OBBB and this, Trump seems to want to walk the tightrope between promoting the perception of draining the swamp while actually elevating his stature as king of the alligators.

If you see the Epstein story as a  crime story, which of course it is, you probably favor maximum disclosure of everyone and everything involved, including innocent people, like a typical court case.

If you see the Epstein story as something bigger, involving more than one nation, you might see it as a Commander in Chief issue, meaning the public is not meant to have the full story, similar to most national defense issues. We elect a president to decide -- in part -- what the public can safely see.

Any "peace negotiation" that requires secrecy is untenable, and quite frankly, if what is in those files is so damning to "end Republican control of Congress," it's an admission that the Republican Party is unfit to govern.

Being present on either does not mean anyone is guilty of a crime. Contacts could be for legitimate reasons, too, and not every plane ride meant someone did dirty deeds on the Island.

The reason I see to keep what they DO know about sexual misdeeds quiet is to use that information for leverage to take down or manipulate those who they have dirt on. It is possible that CIA or Mossad, or some other agency was hock deep in a pedo honey pot operation for that very purpose, and it is likely that if that is so, the operation was ongoing for multiple administrations whether the politicians knew much of anything about it.

So there is that, FWIW, but none of it is necessarily definitive evidence of any particular person's wrongdoing.

That definitely is not the way the press would spin it if certain specific people were listed for any reason.

I think your point is entirely correct, I think its completely probable Epstein was a CIA/mossad plant to get dirt on billionaires and keep money flowing into the USA.

We don’t even know much about Epstein, how he got his money, financial audits, who financed him etc all of it remains hidden and all we have is speculation. The fact we don’t even know the ‘little” details, basically confirms to be there is something greater involved.

I personally think he killed himself, but i think he killed himself because if he didn’t Maxwell would have been killed.

What interests me about trumps latest post is:

1. Not denying that the Epstein files exists (whereas Axios article / Bondi has suggested that there are none)
2. Compares it to Russia Gate. Which to me is a red flag that the Epstein files implicate him.
