Those involved in this charade need to admit they are wrong and stop damaging America's military capability

Watching U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's face during the recent cabinet meeting where President Trump announced he was sending more air defense weapons to Ukraine, was priceless. So was CIA Director Radcliffe's.

It is reported that Hegseth was the official who last week stopped the flow of air defense and artillery rounds to Ukraine as it is apparent to any intellectually honest thinker that our weapons stores have been bled dry by the conflict in Europe.

This puts our troops on the ground, and frankly our cities, at risk.

For what?

Nobody is complaining about all the Patriot missiles expended in defense of Israel.

Patriot missiles didn't stop 9/11.

Patriot missiles didn't shootdown the Chi-com spy balloon.

Both Ukraine and Israel have neighbor nations lobbing missiles at them on a frequent basis.

If the issue is supply, build more.  If the issue is production capacity, employ the Defense Production Act to increase production capacity as much as possible, as fast as possible.  This is the time to identify shortcomings in the Patriot Missile supply chain logistics, and resolve them.

Also, the active military engagements in Ukraine and Israel are great opportunities for field testing and innovations for improvement.

Little wars are great proving grounds and practice for future wars outside controlled war game environments.
