 Muslim Leaders Who Oppose Terrorism: The New Heroes

When Muslims say they support the Palestinian "resistance," they are actually voicing support for terrorism and Hamas's October 7 atrocities against Israelis and others.

Undoubtedly, there are some Muslims who are in favor of these kinds of visits and interfaith dialogue, but they either prefer to remain neutral or are afraid to voice their opinions in public. Muslims should applaud, not condemn, Muslim leaders who reach out to Israel and Jews and speak out against Islamist terror groups, for their own future: they can choose, instead of a life of fear a life of freedom, prosperity and opportunity.

I'd like to believe this to be true.  If it is, they are likely to get their 72 virgins long before they planned.  If it isn't, it's good PR to turn more people against Israel acting like the "religion of peace."

I read that with quite a dose of skepticism. Here's why:

Do the Muslim Brotherhood believe Islam must ultimately rule the world? Yes.

Do the vast majority of Muslims believe the same? Yes.

Do the Muslim Brotherhood claim that Arab leaders are Western puppets who have abandoned Sharia? Yes.

Do most Muslims agree with that view? Yes.

Do the Muslim Brotherhood preach that a war between Muslims and Jews is inevitable, culminating in the annihilation of the Jews as foretold in Islamic texts? Yes.

Do mulost Muslims believe that prophecy is divine truth? Yes.

Do the Muslim Brotherhood teach that non-Muslims are infidels who must one day live under Islamic rule? Yes.

Do Muslims share this vision of global Islamic supremacy? Absolutely.

The difference between the Muslim Brotherhood and the broader Muslim world isn’t ideological, it’s structural. The Muslim Brotherhood has the machinery. Most Muslims don’t. But the theology, the eschatology, and the political vision are the same.
I don’t care what the media tells you, what the optimists try to sell you, or what academia writes in its sanitized reports.

Here’s the reality: the overwhelming majority of the Islamic world shares the same worldview as the Muslim Brotherhood.

The only difference is organization.

The Muslim Brotherhood turned that worldview into a structured political movement, but the ideology, the values, the end goals are widely shared.

The core vision is the same: a society ruled by Islam, where religion dictates politics and identity.
