New graphic reveals the most common birthplaces of foreign migrants in each state
By Olivia Murray

One commenter called the graphic below an “absolutely bleak” reality, and he couldn’t be more right:

As the author of the tweet noted, it’s a “subcontinental flood” of foreigners…but not from Europe, which wouldn’t be so bad because that “subcontinental flood” would at least be comprised of people who largely share our value system, heritage, and culture. This “subcontinental flood” is pouring in from the third world, bringing along all its poverty, dysfunction, incivility, and depravity with it.

Gruesome halal butchery practices that inflict as much pain as possible on the animals going in your neighbor’s backyard? Welcome to Minnesota Nice!

Young children being sold off into marriage with pedophilic men? Here’s what one comprehensive study found:

[Child marriage] was higher among girls than among boys (6.8 vs. 5.7 per 1,000), and was lower among white non-Hispanic children (5.0 per 1,000) than among almost every other racial or ethnic group studied; it was especially high among children of American Indian or Chinese descent (10.3 and 14.2, respectively). Immigrant children were more likely than U.S.-born children to have been married; prevalence among children from Mexico, Central America and the Middle East was 2-4 times that of children born in the United States.

It's called "identity".

All of the foreigners understand that concept.
So do American blacks.
And native American "Indians".

There's only one ethnic/racial group that seems blind and unable to grasp the "identity" of who they are. You get but a single guess at who they are...

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
Not so sure I have seen any Bhutanese here, maybe on the East side of the State.

I am not sure how "child marriage" is being defined,  but I have not seen any among the American Indians ("Native Americans") up here.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Legal immigrants fleeing Communist, Muslim or Tatmadaw repression in Asia (or Africa), immigrants from places where Anglo-Saxon legal norms were established for over a century (e.g. India, Nigeria, Ghana, Jamaica), and immigrants from democratic capitalist countries in East Asia (Japan, S. Korea and Taiwan) should all be as welcomed as immigrants from Europe.

The real problems come from Muslims and criminal elements among Latin American immigrants.

Personally, I'm hoping we get enough immigrants from India that we can become a serious contender in a sport which was beloved of Benjamin Franklin and Abraham Lincoln, but despite its popularity in the rest of the Anglosphere has fallen into disregard in the United States -- cricket -- I'd love to see the United States fielding a test cricket team, we're already doing well in the one-day formats of the game.

And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

HAHAHAHA! Maybe my perspective IS a little skewed...

All y'all have flags I do not recognize, presumably from south of the border.

And I have Canucks.  I'll take that.

Well, Bhutan is a country on the East flank of the Himalayas.

North Dakota seems an unlikely choice.

Maybe they got tired of living in the mountains.

Well, if they went to Fargo or Grand Forks, they're in the middle of the Red River Valley (of the North), and that area is flatter than the open ocean. It is the lake bed from Glacial Lake Agassiz.
Flood waters there go up a foot and spread out a mile on either side, where there is no flood control infrastructure.
