Health Care Welfare Panic
Derek Hunter

Now that One Big Beautiful Bill is the law of the land, the panic Democrats tried to inspire will have nowhere to go. What do you do with people so gullible that they believe anything a Democrat says? Some people are simply unreachable, and it's probably best not to waste your time trying. But it’s worth noting that the fear they manufacture in people is not by accident; they do it because it works.

How many times have you heard someone say, “Big drug companies would rather people die than see their profits drop,” or some such variation of that? I’d bet you’ve heard that a lot. It’s a very effective line of attack, as it pits someone in need against a faceless corporation, and doesn’t hate faceless corporations?

The only problem is, if you think about it rationally, what kind of business plan is it where you have your customer base die? Not a growth industry there.

While you can find cases of people genuinely unable to afford their prescriptions or an insurance company screwing over someone, those cases are rare. Surveys showed during the Obamacare debate that health insurance companies were wildly unpopular with the public, but the public had a highly favorable view of their own insurance. Why? Same reason people hate Congress, but largely support their Member of Congress: their experience with them was always good.

Medicaid is no different.

The Media Deploy A Cadre Of ‘Experts’ And ‘Advocates’ To Lie About Medicaid
Christopher Jacobs
5–7 minutes

At 11:56 a.m. last Tuesday, the United States Senate voted to pass its version of the “big, beautiful” budget reconciliation bill, sending it back to the House. Exactly 30 minutes later, this headline appeared: “Senate megabill marks biggest Medicaid cuts in history.”

I have already explained how the Medicaid provisions in budget reconciliation do NOT represent a “cut.” In reality, Medicaid will continue to grow over the coming decade — by roughly $1 trillion, in fact.

But it’s worth examining this article in The Hill in detail to examine the various tricks of the trade that the media use to try and, well, trick people into accepting the leftist perspective. It may not surprise readers to realize that what the media don’t write about is as important as what they do.

The real crisis is hospital closures, inavailability of doctors / hospital beds / medical appointments, and doctors going into private practice and no longer accpeting insurance of any kind.

Obamacare was a ponzi-scheme to slow the pace of hospitals financially collapsing under the weight of treating uninsured patients.  It bought the hospital systems some time.

Now hospitals are faced with closures by a variety of factors, one of which is low re-imbursement rates from insurers and delayed payments from insurers.

In Mass, the situation was made worse by Stewart Healthcare creating profitable Real Estate Investment Trusts for the land/buildings while hospital operations lost money.  They used financial engineering to divide each hospital into two business entities, landlord and hospital operations.  The landlord made profits via rent payments from insolvent hospital operations.

There are only two ways for hospitals to be "profitable":

1.) fraud
2.) deny healthcare to those who can't afford to pay

The healthcare system is experiencing a slow motion collapse, and politicians are oblivious ... until their loved one has to wait 24 hours in an Emergency Room, in a room or in the hallway, until a bed becomes available to admit them.
"Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it’s entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." - Alan Simpson, Frontline Video Interview
