Congratulations to Speaker Johnson .  He pulled off a near miracle.

I'm not sure what is in this bill. Whether it's good or bad. (I'll look now since it's passed) But I am shocked that Johnson was able to get it thru the House in this amount of time. It is a near miracle.

The only other comment I have is...I saw a clip of Hakeem during his blah, blah, blahing. It sounded to me like he was channeling Barack in manner. He even kinda looked like him.

Wonder what the stipulations are on the Social Security taxation. I begin drawing mine in August, but I’m still working for another couple of years. I can’t imagine mine not being taxed being I have a primary income.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.
