Trump’s Deportation Plans Are Working, and Americans Approve

On the heels of dystopian images of riots, fires and foreign flags flying in Los Angeles, the summer campaign to lower public support for Donald Trump’s immigration policies has begun. So far, that campaign has been an abject failure, as polling shows Americans largely support the White House deportation efforts.

Beyond just acknowledging support in the polls, however, it is time to state a fact that is rarely heard along the Acela corridor and in other elite circles: Donald Trump has taken the slings and arrows for his bold stance on immigration, and now in his fifth year as president, has stuck to his guns on that stance. He has shown results that critics once deemed impossible, and a majority of Americans approve.     

So far this year, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported 207,000 illegal aliens. This robust enforcement, coupled with innovative self-deportation initiatives, demonstrates that Trump’s policies are not only possible, but also effective.

The necessity of these measures stems directly from the Biden Administration’s catastrophic mismanagement of border security, which left the nation grappling with unprecedented illegal migration. It is time for Americans to see through the propaganda and give Trump credit for his vision, hard work, and dedication to prioritizing American citizens.

This is déjà vu from his first term. He was polling unfavorably in 2017 but many here believed the polls were wrong and Trump was actually popular with the voters

Then the 2018 midterms came. Democrats picked up 40 seats in the House and seven governorships. They even elected a Democrat governor in Kansas of all places that year. It was a blue wave

We’ll see how the American people really feel come the  midterms. But if these special elections this year are any indication, the GOP may in for a tough night come Nov. 2026

Trump supporters are making the same mistakes the Biden supporters did. And the GOP is behaving the same way the Democrats did in 2009 such as refusing to show up to town halls in their districts to to avoid facing angry constituents and when they do, dismiss their concerns, assuming protests against them are either paid or, as Pelosi said about the TEA Party protests, just astroturfing.

Deporting Haitians back to Haiti is a kiss of death.
How can the Department of Homeland Security say it’s safe to return to Haiti, while the State Department is still warning Americans not to travel there?
Haiti is not safe! It’s riddled with gang violence and political turmoil.
