Arab Journalists and Liberals Praise U.S. Strike On Iran: The Iranian Threat Is Over; Trump Saved Humanity; God Bless America

The June 22, 2025 U.S. strike on Iran's nuclear facilities was met with approval and satisfaction by many Arab journalists and liberals, who took to X to express their support for it. Some thanked U.S. President Donald Trump, saying he had "made history" and "saved humanity" from the nuclear threat posed by the Iranian regime. Others expressed hope for the downfall of this regime, and several mocked Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, calling on him to surrender unconditionally or else face a grim fate.
It should be mentioned that some of these writers also expressed support for Israel's attack on Iran, launched on June 13, stating that this country was not defending only itself but the entire Middle East.[1]

Saudi Journalist: The Iranian Threat Is Gone
Saudi journalist Abd al-Aziz Al-Khames wrote: "The dream, the danger and the Iranian nuclear project have come to an end for a long time. Iran wasted billions that went down the drain at the expense of its people’s livelihood. Will reason prevail, with Iran launching an economic development project instead of a military one of nukes and missiles?"[2]
