As a point of order, the use of foul language has nothing to do with the Principles of Conservatism.
Even Christian principles. The Bible DOES say to avoid 'rough language', whatever that is. The Bible DOES say that damning anything is way above our pay grade... So 'damn' might be against Christian principles. But the rest is covered in 'rough language', which varies completely from place to place, even within the nation... Widen that to include the world, and the list is impossible to manage.
I know out here in the West, cussing ain't got anywhere near weight it does back east in the South. I cuss like a muleskinner, so long as the ladies ain't around. And that depends on the lady. Cowgirls and motorhead girls are pretty inured.
Better to say it offends Christian sensibilities (as managed by the blue-haired old ladies committee at your church).
