Excerpt:

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department found itself in hot water early Sunday, posting a message expressing sympathy for “victims” of recent bombings in Iran, only to delete it in a frantic scramble—too late, as screenshots preserved the evidence.

Why is any Sheriff department in the US in any county making any comment concerning foreign policy, foreign wars, or foreign attacks? Stay in your lane and do your job protecting the US citizens in your county and enforcing the law of your county, state, and country.

No one was fired lol

Los Angeles cops have scrambled to delete a bizarre social media post about the conflict in Iran after it was widely slammed as 'embarrassing' and 'offensive'.

The LA County Sheriff's Department expressed condolences for the 'tragic' US bombing of Iranian nuclear sites on Sunday in a since-removed post.

'Our hearts go out to the victims and families impacted by the recent bombings in Iran,' the post on X stated.

'While this tragic event happened overseas, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is closely monitoring the situation alongside our local, state and federal partners.'

Social media users were quick to slam the post as out-of-touch and inaccurate, given there were no confirmed deaths.

It came after police faced heavy criticism for allowing anti-ICE and 'No Kings' riots to spiral out of control in LA just weeks ago.
