Once you got over the surprise news that Trump ordered an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities Saturday, you probably quickly realized that hysterical Democrats would come down on the wrong side of the matter, because nowadays they seem to choose the unpopular side of every 80-20 issue.

Although the pre-emptive strike against the antisemitic, America-hating Islamic Republica appears to have been a spectacular success and made the world a safer place, the Usual Grouchy Subjects in the party just can’t stand to see the U.S. winning.

The great philosopher and legal theorist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) immediately decided it was an impeachable offense by the commander in chief:

Democrats cry about the War Powers Act, and some conservatives worry about a long war

In the hours since President Trump notified the world that the American military had completely obliterated Iran’s three primary nuclear-bomb-making facilities, including the dreaded under-the-mountain fortress of Fordow, two major themes have emerged: (1) From Democrats, the claim that Trump acted unconstitutionally by violating the War Powers Act, and (2) from many conservatives, concerns about the possibility of a long war. I know that the Democrats are wrong, and I think that the conservatives are wrong, too (which is the Democrats’ fault).

First, the War Powers Act issue. Predictably, within minutes, Democrats started shrieking that Trump had violated it and that he’d violated the Constitution. AOC led with a demand that he be impeached. I know that a lot of Democrats were saying it, so here are representative tweets from three of the highest-profile Dems:

I believe Trump’s attack on Iran, hitting three reported nuclear targets, is tantamount to a declaration of war. The President must be confronted by Members of Congress to be reminded that the President must come before Congress to seek approval before a declaration of war. This action by the President is typical of a president out of control. The United States at one time had an agreement with Iran, and that agreement was monitored closely. But Trump withdrew from that agreement when he took office. Trump is out of control and does not contribute to an establishment of peace. It was my understanding that Trump would give two weeks’ consideration to his response to Israel’s attack on Iran, and Iran’s attack on Israel, and he has not done so. This president must be stopped. I and Members of Congress must confront this issue as soon as we return to Congress. We need peaceful negotiations, not another war!

Obama tossed cruise missiles all over the globe when he was President. And he did it with no oversight and no defined goals except for his "kill list" which only he had access to and only he controlled. Worse than that, he is quoted to have said at various parties that he was having 'fun' doing it.

Obama once blew up a wedding, assassinated an American, and killed countless civilians across the world with his reckless and pointless killing spree.

The ONLY reason to enrich Uranium past that is to build a weapon. The Iranians were reportedly at 60% U-235.
