The nexus of President Donald Trump's immigration and economic policies rests on a simple and sensible premise.

In short, when you deport illegal immigrants, native-born American workers will see their wages rise.

Sure enough, according to The Washington Post, the Labor Department's May jobs report, released earlier this month, showed both an increase in wages and a substantial decline in the immigrant labor force, due in part to border czar Tom Homan's execution of the president's deportation plan.
 
"Average hourly wages accelerated, rising by 0.4 percent over the month, to $36.24 in May, as earnings continue to beat inflation in a boost to workers’ spending power," the Post wrote.

There is nothing the Federal Reserve hates more than rising wages, irrespective of productivity increases.  They will raise interests rates to induce recession to prevent 'wage inflation'.

The last thing the US Chamber of Commerce wants is an ascendant, upwardly mobile American middle class.  That's why the advocate for illegal immigration and H1-B visas.

For the past 30 years, the US Government and the US Chamber of Commerce have been conducting an economic war of annihilation against the American working middle class.
