I have to take issue with this:
The anti-ICE protests, sparked by Trump’s immigration policies, have turned the city into a battleground, with businesses paying the price.
These protests are part of a CCP funded much larger net of protests, replete with paid organizers and actors, trying to change national policy by chimping out and breaking even more laws than the ones which have forced policy to enforce our laws. The goal is to disrupt this administration in hopes of getting back to the corruptocracy of the Democrat dominated previous administration.
While The Administration tries to return legal compliance with our immigration laws to the country, misbehaving is on those who do it. It isn't a righteous protest of something unfair, it is enforcing the existing laws the previous administration ignored in hopes of packing the population bases of Democrat run cities with malleable people they hoped to have vote for Democrats, but who at the very least would pad population numbers to shift the balance of the House of Representatives by adding more heavily Democrat populated districts (even if they were not eligible to vote but were just counted in the census).
IMHO, count the non citizens to keep track of how many there are, but do not count them for the purpose of allocating congressional districts, and because they are not legally present, they should have no vote.
