Growing number of officials face removal, charges, arrests under Trump administration

The forceful removal of Democratic Sen. Alex Padilla of California from a press conference Thursday in Los Angeles is part of a growing number of congressional and local leaders who have been publicly handcuffed, and in some cases federally charged, under the second Trump administration. Justice correspondent Scott MacFarlane reports.

As democrats are quick to note about republicans, no one is above the law though I doubt they will say it in these cases. **nononono*

I think some of them like the optics of "standing up and speaking truth to power". They can use this in their re-election campaigns.
