113 Dems vote against resolution denouncing antisemitism, supporting ICE
June 10, 2025 | Adam Pack

More than half of House Democrats voted against a GOP-backed resolution condemning the terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado, and expressing support for the work of federal immigration authorities to detain criminal illegal aliens.

The House of Representatives voted 280 to 113 to pass the resolution condemning antisemitism, which was offered by freshman Republican Colorado Rep. Gabe Evans. Seventy-five House Democrats joined their GOP colleagues in approving the resolution while six lawmakers voted “present,” including Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, the lone GOP lawmaker to cast a vote other than “yea.”

House Republicans’ campaign arm, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), excoriated the majority of House Democrats for opposing the resolution.

“House Democrats just sided with terrorists over cops and couldn’t even bring themselves to condemn antisemitism,” NRCC spokesperson Mike Marinella said in a statement. “They’re officially the antisemite and anti-cop caucus.”

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries blasted Evans and House Republicans for offering a resolution tying a condemnation of antisemitism and support for law enforcement, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), in preventing antisemitic terrorist attacks. The resolution notably voices appreciation for ICE personnel for “protecting the homeland” and urges the Trump administration to aggressively vet foreign nationals who apply for visas.
