Karoline Leavitt issues scathing nine-word statement in response to LA riots
Story by Jack Hobbs • 8h

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt issued a fiery statement Saturday night after U.S. President Donald Trump deployed the National Guard in California. According to Leavitt, Democrat leaders "have completely abdicated their responsibility to protect their citizens."

“In recent days, violent mobs have attacked ICE Officers and Federal Law Enforcement Agents carrying out basic deportation operations in Los Angeles, California," Leavitt said. "These operations are essential to halting and reversing the invasion of illegal criminals into the United States."

"In the wake of this violence, California’s feckless Democrat leaders have completely abdicated their responsibility to protect their citizens," she added. "That is why President Trump has signed a Presidential Memorandum deploying 2,000 National Guardsmen to address the lawlessness that has been allowed to fester."

If Newsom and Bass won't do anything to keep citizens safe, it seems appropriate for Trump to step in.  I shouldn't be so judgmental.  Maybe Newsom and Bass want the parts of LA not destroyed by wildfires to be destroyed so there is "equity" in the destruction.
