A little bit of Hollywood appears to have come to east central Illinois.

Sets for the upcoming dark comedy film "Chili Finger" have been spotted in Monticello, Illinois, according to Tommy Bickham of "Tommy & Callie In the Morning" on WLRW 94.5-FM. Monticello is a city of about 6,000 people, located about 85 miles southeast of Peoria, outside Champaign.

Reel Chicago reported last month that filming would take place this summer in "central Illinois," but did not specify the exact city.

Bickham and other social media users posted photos of a former Hardee's restaurant at 309 N. Market St. in Monticello, decked out in signage featuring a cartoon representation of Emmy-winning actor John Goodman wearing a bowtie with the name "Blake Junior's."

Monticello...that's just up the road from me...our doctors and medical center is there..and not much else..lol

Monticello was just an exit off ramp on my way to and from EIU.  knew some people who lived there but I've never been there.  Back then they say it was a nice small town.
