The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating a "targeted terror attack" Sunday afternoon near Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado.

At about 4:30 p.m., the Boulder Police Department said it was responding to a report of an attack near the mall with reports of several victims.

"We are aware of and fully investigating a targeted terror attack in Boulder, Colorado," FBI Director Kash Patel wrote in a statement on X. "Our agents and local law enforcement are on the scene already, and we will share updates as more information becomes available."

My account of what happened at Pearl Street today. Self proclaimed Palestinian man (in his 50s best guess) lighting people on fire with gasoline (from gardening tool) and throwing Molotov cocktails. Burned about 6 people aged mostly over 70.

Definitely premeditated as it happened during the typical Sunday scheduled peaceful/silent walk holding Jewish hostage signs and Israeli flags. Walk has been happening every Sunday since 10/7/23.

Man shouted "You f*cking Zionists kill my people so I kill you!"

One elderly woman was so severely burned that her hair was charred and she wasn't moving while others cared for her. Others were sitting/lying down in shock, some with their pants burned off, skin melted up their legs with their skin even split open and bleeding in some areas.

All we could do was pour water over them from the fountain at the courthouse while they were in agony waiting for the police and paramedics to arrive (easily took 10 min just from the time I arrived at the scene). To their credit, they apprehended the man quickly/immediately.

Video footage captured the alleged attacker — who law-enforcement sources identified to The Post as Mohammed Soliman — in the middle of a tirade about Palestine and calling for death to “Zionists” before he tossed the fiery containers.

A suspect was booked on a range of charges, including first-degree murder, after allegedly carrying out an "act of terrorism" on a pedestrian mall in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday afternoon, using what police are describing as a "makeshift flamethrower" against a crowd of pro-Israel demonstrators.
 
Eight people were hospitalized with burns, Boulder Police said in an update Sunday night. The victims' ages ranged from 52 to 88, and they were all taken to local hospitals, police said.

On Sunday, several people sustained burns after an assailant hurled Molotov cocktails and a makeshift flamethrower into a crowd of pro-Israel protesters. Police arrested a suspect later identified by Fox News as Mohamed Sabry Suleiman, an Egyptian national allegedly residing illegally in the United States since March 2024.

Far-right activist and self-defined "proud Islamophobe" Laura Loomer seized upon the attack to issue a series of inflammatory posts on X, declaring:

In its "Who is the suspect?" section, updated at 5:52 a.m., the Times left out any reference to Mohamed Soliman's nationality or illegal status, Omri Ceren noted on X. Fox News's Bill Melugin reported that information around 9 p.m. on Sunday.
 
"Nothing on: nationality, immigration status, how he got into the country, when he got into the country, etc," Ceren, Sen. Ted Cruz's (R., Texas) legislative director, wrote. "To the extent that his origin is gestured toward at all, he's described as 'of Colorado Springs.'"

This was a terrorist attack that could have ended far worse, with folks dead.  But there are many to blame, starting with the dead from the neck up Biden Administration.

Next, our worthless Congress, who for decades have abdicated their responsibility to develop sound policies to protect the American people.   And with this failure, we should suspend anyone coming to the USA that follows islam.  It is safe to say that a large percent of islam followers believe in genocide.  There are the jihadists, and then there are roughly 35% of those mussies surveyed that say they support what the jihadists do in terms of mass murder/genocide.  Those numbers are large enough to me to suspend any mussie from entering the USA until such time Congress gets off their atrophied posteriors and do their job  Mind you, I am not holding my breath.

Again, this is one important reason we need term limits.  Perhaps if the dead wood is pushed out with term limits, we will return to people in Congress that represent the American people.

I fully support PUBLIC CAPIITAL PUNISHMENT.  Then and only then might it serve as a deterrent to crime.

And even in an attack like this one, this terrorist should face capital punishment.  He may not have murdered anyone, but he certainly intended that to be the case with many people seriously injured.  He planned this attack, so with the premeditation, this should be a capital crime.
