Abandon climate science – and send the 'mainstream' scientists home
By Dr. Graham Pinn (Australia).
There is little debate about climate science, with the much-discussed statement "The science is set" to appease any disputes. In fact, there is considerable disagreement, but it remains unpublished in scientific journals, for fear of job or funding loss.
A recent international study, published in The Conversation, shows that more than 40% of scientists suffer from bullying or intimidation by their institution. Climate science is a common indication. The study did not reveal whether these scientists were proponents or opponents of the theory.
There are numerous examples of authors of scientific papers who support the CO2 theory but refuse to publish underlying details, because others might find errors in their conclusions. There are also numerous examples of articles that contradict the theory and are rejected by editors. The "Climategate" scandal of 2009 is just one example of this global phenomenon.

The usual explanation is that opponents of the climate change hypothesis are funded by the fossil fuel industry. There is no mention of the huge subsidies from the government and the renewable energy industry to proponents. This bias has led to countless examples of senior climate scientists who had to wait until retirement before they could voice their opinions. An American activist/author of yesteryear described the phenomenon a hundred years ago as follows:
