Coast Guard Fact Checks Schumer’s ‘Lie’

Knewz.com is reporting that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has come under fire after attributing the collision of a Mexican Naval ship with the Brooklyn Bridge to cuts by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) that have affected the U.S. Coast Guard. He noted that staffing reductions could have contributed to the incident, which resulted in the deaths of two cadets. The Department of Homeland Security quickly refuted Schumer's claims, noting that the Coast Guard has remained adequately staffed.

I'm kind of going to hate to see Schumer retire.  He's such a value to Republicans. :tongue2:
