NY Times hoax factory reports how Trump has ‘profited’ from his presidency

The Gray Lady’s tact toward the Trump administration stood in stark contrast to the Biden administration, particularly where family “profit” was concerned.
Thanks to CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson, the American people are more acutely aware than ever of the lengths corporate media will go to push a narrative. As the reality of former President Joe Biden’s “Weekend at Bernie’s” administration became too much to cover for and new concerns over alleged influence peddling came to bear, the New York Times accused President Donald Trump and his family of “breathtaking” levels of “presidential mercantilism.”
Contending that “Outrage Is Muted,” Times chief White House correspondent Peter Baker at once made public office profiting commonplace and demonized the GOP leader over the degree to which the Trump family was allegedly making gains amid a second administration.
“The Trumps are hardly the first presidential family to profit from their time in power, but they have done more to monetize the presidency than anyone who has ever occupied the White House,” wrote the MSNBC analyst on Sunday. “The scale and the scope of the presidential mercantilism has been breathtaking.”
Careful framing of the allegations included Baker stating, “The Trump family and its business partners [emphasis added] have collected $320 million in fees from a new cryptocurrency, brokered overseas real estate deals worth billions of dollars and are opening an exclusive club in Washington called the Executive Branch charging $500,000 apiece to join, all in the past few months alone.”
