President Donald Trump expressed his strong disapproval of Russia’s recent large-scale strikes on Ukraine and directed his ire at Russian President Vladimir Putin, who he said he’s “not happy” with.

Trump spoke to reporters shortly before boarding Air Force One on Sunday and responded to the significant escalation by Putin in the Ukraine war, which has included two large-scale missile and drone attacks on Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital city, just this weekend.

“I’m not happy with what Putin is doing. He’s killing a lot of people, and I don’t know what the hell happened to Putin. I’ve known him a long time. Always gotten along with him. But he’s sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don’t like it at all. We’re in the middle of talking, and he’s shooting rockets into Kyiv and other cities,” Trump said.

There are already heavy sanctions on Russia, and we do practically zero business with them.  Russia adjusted to the sanctions by moving closer to BRICS. 

At this point, Vladimir has little incentive to make a deal with the US.  Ukraine is running out of bodies, and the price to accomplish his goal isn't an order of magnitude larger than what has been paid.

Trump has a bust of Reagan in the Oval Office, now here's a chance to copy his success ... get Saudi Arabia to boost oil production, driving the price per barrel down to around $40-45. Russia makes no profit at that price.

When Reagan employed that strategy in the latter 1980's, it bankrupted the Soviet Union and caused it to implode, finally freeing millions of people in Eastern Europe from Soviet neo-slavery. People in Russia were free for a few years too, before the old KGB snakes (headed by Putin) took over again.
