Florida Sen. Rick Scott Leads Push Targeting Haitian Gangs & Corrupt Elite With Sanctions
 Mike Jenkins  May 24, 2025 12:37 pm

A bipartisan coalition of U.S. Senators, including Florida Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), today announced the introduction of the Haiti Criminal Collusion Transparency Act of 2025. The proposed legislation mandates the Department of State to investigate and report on the connections between criminal gangs and political and economic figures in Haiti, aiming to hold perpetrators of violence and their enablers accountable.

The bill, cosponsored by Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Chris Coons (D-DE), John Curtis (R-UT), and Tim Kaine (D-VA), seeks to impose sanctions on identified individuals and entities.

This legislative effort comes as the current U.S. administration reportedly moves to designate Haitian gangs Viv Ansanm and Gran Grif as terrorist organizations.

Let's face it.  Republicans have got some kind of phobia these violent foreign gangs.  They want to keep Americans safer by getting rid of them, but the federal judiciary disagrees.  They want the administration to be nicer to them and invite them to be partners in the American dream. :3:
