That was obviously not his first tangle with a robbery.
The first guy in was the lookout and once he left and gave his ok the robbery was a go.
The store owner had a weapon on his right belt level he had his hand once he got a look at who was coming.
Those poor saps walked into a shooting range. The one that fell looked like was hit multiple times.
I counted at least 7 shots taken all by the cash register guy that shot like he’s well prepared.
That cash register visible to the whole store away from the door explains why that is strategic.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
I love a happy ending.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I love a happy ending.

A happy ending would have been the robber laying on the ground bleeding out.  I am so tired of this shit.

Exactly...what was he firing?  Rubber bullets?

The idea that somebody looked at a purple onion and called it a red onion really bothers me.

I'm pretty sure he was hit a few times, and was running on pure adrenaline. Short of a spinal or brain hit, that can get someone down the sidewalk a little ways.

I have seen a deer run close to 100 yards after being shot with a 12 Ga. rifled slug, and upon field dressing it, found the heart to be in three pieces. That flight instinct is powerful.
