GOP Budget Would Finally Defund Democrat Mega-Donor Planned Parenthood
Zachary Mettler

On Sunday, the House Budget Committee voted 17-16 to advance President Trump’s “one, big, beautiful bill,” and it achieves a goal social conservatives have had for years: It finally defunds Big Abortion.

No Medicaid dollars “shall be used to make payments to a prohibited entity for items and services furnished during a 10-year period,” the bill states. It defines a prohibited entity as any 501(c)(3) charitable organization that “is primarily engaged in family planning services, reproductive health, and related medical care,” “provides for abortions,” and exceeded $1 million in Medicaid dollars in 2024.

Planned Parenthood, our nation’s largest provider of abortions, released its latest annual report on Monday, May 12. The report shows exactly why this pro-life measure must remain in the final budget reconciliation bill.

In the last two years, Planned Parenthood — an ostensibly “nonprofit organization” — earned a stunning $206 million in profit, its own numbers reveal. Much of that is thanks to hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars flowing into its coffers.

This would not happen if the Dems had also funded Hair Club for Men.

That makes the bill much more palatable to me although there aren't nearly enough cuts. And I'm not talking about cuts rather than reductions in the rate of growth.

Where have all the trillions that have been allocated since 2020 gone?  There's no point throwing good money after bad.

States should have to compete for Federal funds or reimbursement, and those that are best at managing their funds should be rewarded with more ... and the other states should lose funding.

Nothing will compel fiscal discipline and fiscal controls like loosing funds.  Bureaucrats hold their budgets to be sacred.  Anything that threatens their budget funding gets their immediate attention. Losing funding is far more effective than more regulations.

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
Congress is worthless as structured.  They do nothing, and they boast about doing nothing.  The time has come for a Continental Congress to update the Constitution.

So, I say let's have a lot less folks doing nothing.

REDUCE THE SENATE TO ONE SENATOR PER STATE.  THAT IS A 50% REDUCTION IN COST FOR THE SENATE, WITH 50 SENATORS GONE, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, THEIR 60 STAFF EACH ON AVERAGE, OR 3,000 STAFFERS.

END COUNTING ILLEGAL INVADING ALIENS IN THE COUNT FOR HOUSE DISTRICT SEATS.  INCREASE THE NUMBER OF ELECTORATE PER DISTRICT BY 50% PER DISTRICT.  THAT REDUCES THE HOUSE BY ROUGHLY 160 MEMBERS, AND AGAIN THEIR 60 STAFF PER MEMBER OF THE HOUSE.  THAT IS ROUGHLY 150 REPS AND 13,500 STAFFERS GONE.

And I believe Trump could drive the above by demanding the American people have referendums on key issues.  I think the time has come to end the courts and their dictates, and that decisions are made by the American people via referendum, ending the courts' control, and to a degree, ending the do nothing Congress on key issues.  I believe Trump could make that all happen.

Perhaps with fewer voices in Congress, it can become functional again.  Otherwise, we need to do something different yet.

And don't hold your breath for these pukes ending the funding of the Democommie Party via Planned Parenthood.  I do not see that happening any time soon.  Fantasy.
