Democratic National Committee Vice Chair David Hogg has proposed a $20 million initiative to support younger candidates in Democratic primaries within traditionally safe blue districts. Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville has criticized the plan, emphasizing the need to prioritize winning elections. Tensions have risen as Carville has questioned whether the age of sitting Democrats is a significant issue for the party. Carville recently argued against Hogg's approach, labeling it a detrimental strategy that undermines the party's goal of defeating Republicans. Hogg countered that his efforts aim to address low approval ratings within the Democratic Party and that new voices are necessary to influence legislation.

The Hogg man is starting to find out new ideas from younger democrats aren't welcome within the party.

I think they are jumping the gun and being rash. They should give his plan a shot for a couple of election cycles.

Boomer Dems will not go quietly into the assisted living facilities.

Dems used to represent people, like deplorables.  Now, Dems just represent themselves, not their voters.
