COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Over a dozen people are facing removal from the U.S. following a recent raid of an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs, according to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokesperson.
When the operation first took place on April 27, ICE Denver reportedly detained 104 people who law enforcement said were in the country illegally.
Out of these detainees, 18 reportedly had final orders of removal at the time of their arrest and will be processed for deportation. They do not have a hearing scheduled with an immigration judge.
The spokesperson also says 14 had previous criminal charges or convictions for crimes such as robbery, assault and marijuana possession. At least two are suspected of having ties to the Sinaloa Cartel.
