The scene, dubbed “Summer of Love 2.0” by conservatives, has sparked outrage over the Seattle Police Department’s initial retreat, with @amuse on X writing, “Antifa’s running wild—where are the cops? This is an embarrassment!”



Antifa’s chaos at UW proves we need Trump’s tough-on-crime approach—time to bring in the National Guard and restore order!  If this goes on for much longer, Trump needs to federalize the guard and put a stop to this sht.

Multiple fires were set by Antifia militants at the University of Washington campus in Seattle on Monday night. A group of black bloc Antifa occupied the Interdisciplinary Engineering building and blockaded the doors. The building opened just a few weeks ago and the $100 million price tag was funded by private donors, taxpayers, a federal grant, Amazon, T-Mobile and Boeing.

Activists blocked streets with bike racks and dumpsters and set them on fire.  ...

About 20 agitators were inside the building while another 60 were outside. When a private security vehicle approached, Antifa radicals dressed in black bloc with shields and forced it to retreat. University police called in the Seattle Police Department and the Washington State Patrol for assistance. The University needs to end all relationship with Antifas and the like, assuming there actually is any.

Round 'em up, cancel any visas, and deal with them appropriately.

Give them Due Process, of course.

(The police missed a chance to clear the building...Have some officer (Lt. or better) call 'em up and tell them the joke's on them, you just got a bomb threat...)

After an intense night of destructive protests, activity has calmed down on the University of Washington campus, where about 30 activists were taken into custody early Tuesday morning.

At around 5 p.m., pro-Palestinian students occupied the Interdisciplinary Engineering Building Monday evening, renaming it the Shaban al-Dalou Building, in protest against the university's ties to Boeing as war continues in Gaza.

There is a lot of damage to clean up from the group named Super UW. Furniture, signs, and electric scooters remain barricaded against the front door of the building. Trash is strewn across the courtyard, and items, including goggles, were left behind. ...

Federalize the guard? Can he do that? I"m usually "federalist" in the sense that these people usually antagonize blue cities, but DC is a nation capital and Trump should have jurisdiction to keep order if he wants it.
